She may be the Princess of Pop, but it’s her wine interests that are providing a major boost to her personal fortune with seven million bottles of Kylie Minogue wines sold in 2022, her prosecco alone recording £7.7million worth of sales. And, according to The Mirror, the increased sales have boosted the 54-year-old’s wine-making fortune by £9.3million (approx. €10.6m).

The singer only launched her own wine brand in 2020 but it has proved as popular with fans as her singing, the signature rosé fizz a best seller in the UK.

She returned home to Australia recently after spending years living in London where she forged a music career spanning five decades. Soon after, she teamed up with De Bortoli Wines in Yarra Valley to add a pinot noir and chardonnay to her Kylie Minogue Wines range, and before leaving Europe she set up a deal with Benchmark Drinks, which also sells wines by singer Gary Barlow and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Paul Schaafsma of Benchmark said: “In my 25 years in the wine industry, I have never experienced such an overwhelming response to a brand in its first two years. It is testament to Kylie’s commitment and the incredible producers we work with.”
