Austrian Wines take centre stage at London event

Science Museum plays host to Austrian Tasting 2023.

Next month Austrian wine will be showcased in London when Austrian Tasting ends two years of digital events with a daylong extravaganza at the Science Museum.

A total of 600 wines from 100 wineries will be on show at the walk-around tasting on February 6, with producers already in the UK market joined by those hoping to make a breakthrough.

A number of masterclasses on Austrian wine will be held throughout the day providing insight into the country’s treasures of the vines. Details on the event and how to register are available at Austrian Tasting London 2023 (austrianwine.com).

The Tasting runs from 10am to 5pm at Illuminate at the Science Museum, with the list of masterclasses:

10am-11am: Masterclass Wagram – Where Grüner meets Roter Veltliner. Speaker: Stefan Neumann, MS

11.30am-12.30am: Masterclass Zweigelt – Austria´s red dawn. Masterpiece of versatility and diversity. Speaker: Dirceu Vianna Junior, MW
