Burgundy Music Festival to Resume in June

Burgundy's music festival at Clos du Vouegot returns In June

After being cancelled in 2020, Burgundy’s music festival Musique & Vin au Clos Vougeot will take place from 20 – 27 June 2021.

New artistic directors

The thirteenth edition of the festival, under the new direction of musicians Gautier Capuçon and Jean-Yves Thibaudet, will also nurture young talents, like Hungarian violinist Júlia Pusker.

Concerts will be held at the Grand Cellier of Clos du Vougeot, the Halles de Beaune and the church of Saint Nicolas in Meursault, with the grand finale played in the courtyard of the Château du Clos de Vougeot

Wine and Food

Wine and food will also feature with wine tastings preceding the concerts, Lovers of wine and music will be able to share wonderful tastings before the concerts, a mâchon, or hearty morning meal, in the courtyard of the Château du Clos de Vougeot and a musical paulée at the Château de Meursault, finishing with a sumptuous gala dinner on Sunday June 27.

Aubert de Villaine, co-director of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and president of the festival, said: “After such a period of uncertainty, it is essential to continue this great adventure between music and wine, by thanking our patrons and the wineries who give us constant support. Thanks to them, we can look to the future with optimism and confidence.”
