Champagne Bollinger Releases Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition

Champagne Bollinger has launched a Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition to celebrate the release of the new James Bond film 'No Time to Die'

Three icons

Champage Bollinger has released a Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition to mark the release of the latest James Bond film. The legendary Champagne house says the limited edition, which has a price tag of £50 ($69), brings together three icons: Bollinger’s signature Special Cuvée, the Aston Martin DB5 and the famous British secret agent. Photographer Greg Williams, who has shot posters for multiple Bond movies including the upcoming No Time To Die, worked on the campaign.

Not shaken or stirred

The Special Cuvée 007 comes in a gift box featuring the silhouette of James Bond alongside his Aston Martin. Even the colour of the box has been chosen to echo the "silver birch finish" of the DB5, according to Bollinger. The bottle itself features a black-and-gold neck collar with a 007 badge. The Bollinger Special Cuvée 007 will be available worldwide from 1 September.

The history of Bond and Bollinger

Champagne Bollinger first appeared in the 1979 Bond film Moonraker and became the official champagne of the British secret agent. Over the years, the partnership between Bollinger and 007 has deepened and has become an integral part of the history of the two brands. Bollinger owner Christian Bizot, who died in 2002, had agreed on a collaboration with James Bond producer Cubby Broccoli that lasts – a handshake and no contract reportedly exists to this day.
