Eurostar scraps London to Disneyland Paris service in 2023
Eurostar will suspend its direct train service between London and Disneyland Paris from 5 June next year, saying it wants to focus on its core routes.
Eurostar bills the service as "perfect way to bring the whole family closer to the magic of Disney."
But from June 5 next year, that magic will be a bit further away because Eurostar is suspending its direct train service from London St Pancras International to Marne-la-Vallée, right by Disneyland Paris.
Local media reported instead of a 2 hour 49 minute train trip, Disney fans will need to go via Paris or Lille.
"Whilst we continue to recover financially from the pandemic and monitor developments in the proposed EU Entry Exit system, we need to focus on our core routes," Sky News quoted a Eurostar spokeswoman as saying.
The options for 2024 would be re-examined during the coming year, she said.
