Falstaff International Unveils First Print Issue of 2022

Falstaff is delighted to release the first print issue of 2022.

Falstaff International has released its first print magazine of 2022. The March-June edition features the theme of ‘Discovery and Rediscovery’ focused on the joyful trinity of wine, food and travel. We take you around the world to experience what is new – and what is worth seeing in a new light – from famous Californian reds and colourful Peruvian cuisine to the sensuous delights of Morocco.

Our headline wine feature transports you to California, to the Napa Valley and Central Coast, its illustrious history and the challenges for this flagship American wine region. Sideways author Rex Pickett travels further south to Chile to introduce us to the bravest female winemaker and Falstaff’s wine editors explore the evolution of Chianti Classico and give their expert verdict on the 2019 Bordeaux vintage: what you should buy and what you should drink for everyday.

When it comes to food, we’re passionate about Peru and all that its fusion cuisine has to offer. Find out how nikkei evolved, its hallmark ingredients plus the 25 hottest Peruvian restaurants outside the country that you must visit. Savour the joys of spring with our amazing asparagus recipes and explore the pungent world of goat’s cheeses and the aromas of single-estate coffee.

We’re itching to travel again especially to exotic climes so we have the insider’s guide to Morocco and Marrakech (complete with top addresses of where to stay and eat) and we rediscover New York City’s gourmet delights from fine dining restaurants and brunch spots to delis and markets. For those who prefer to get away from it all, delve into our round-up of best beaches around the globe, whatever your age or interests, from Rio to Rarotonga.

We toast spirits fans with Tequila and mezcal, take a comprehensive look at the ins and outs of kitchen knives and much more.

Led by Editor-in-Chief Anne Krebiehl (Master of Wine), the first 2022 print issue of Falstaff Magazine features more than 180 pages of exciting news and features for readers with an appetite for the finer things in life – and writing that comes with a dose of humour and intellect.
