Gordon Ramsay Launches New Italian Wine Brand

The celebrity chef is releasing a collection of three Italian wines - a red, white and a rosé.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has uncorked a new range of Italian wines. The collection was developed in partnership with winemaker Alberto Antonini and Benchmark Drinks. “Running a 3 Michelin star restaurant for over 20 years means I have had the joy of tasting some of the finest wines in the world," said the British chef, who also has an American wine brand. "Italy and Italian wines have a special place in my heart, Tana (his wife) and I have spent some incredibly happy times in this amazing country and many of those moments were made even better by a beautiful glass of wine."

Red, white and rosé

The collection consists of three wines: Vibrante Bianco, Elegante Rosato and Intenso Rosso. The wines are from grapes sourced from two regions, Tuscany and Abruzzo. "Breaking down the barriers associated with cross-regional blending in Italy was key in achieving the desired styles and flavours," Benchmark Drinks said.

The wines will be sold for £10/US$13 a bottle through Tescos and winedelivered.co.uk Gordon Ramsay also has a Californian wine range, produced at Seabold Cellars in Monterey.
