Historic St. Moritz Hotel Reopens in December 2022

The renovated historic hotel in St. Moritz, which dates back to 1906, will reopen in December 2022 with a modern, spacious spa extension.

The renowned Grace La Margna, which sits enthroned above the St. Moritz railway station with a panoramic view over Lake St. Moritz, will reopen in winter 2022. The historic Art Nouveau building has been completely renovated at a cost of more than 70 million Swiss francs, and a new extension with additional rooms and a spa was also built. It was designed by London-based architectural firm Divercity Architects and Blarer & Reber Architects from Samedan.

Grace La Margna is the first hotel of the newly created brand Grace Hotels. The name "Grace" stands for exclusive style and service as well as the innovative approach of the hotel, while "La Margna" is the original name of the hotel from 1906 and symbolises the origins of tourism in St. Moritz, one of Switzerland's most renowned destinations.

Fine Dining, Brasserie und Pop-Up

In addition to 74 spacious rooms and suites, the hotel will also have several new restaurants with different food concepts: From fine dining to a restaurant with a show kitchen and pizza oven to a brasserie. In addition, guests can look forward to a varied "Culinary Pop-Up" and the large outdoor terrace from which they can enjoy the mountain views.

The bar of the Grace La Margna is located in the listed lobby lounge and forms the heart of the hotel with a contemporary interior and a smokers lounge. An upscale cocktail culture will be joined by live music acts as well as theatre performances.

The hotel's new spa extends over 700sqm and offers a 20-metre pool, two saunas, a hammam, a private spa suite as well as a spa lounge and several treatment rooms. There is also a fitness area equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and a ski room with maintenance service..
