IHG expands in Saudi Arabia with Hotel Indigo Jeddah

Set to open in 2028, Hotel Indigo Jeddah will feature 267 hotel rooms and 173 serviced apartments.

IHG has announced it has signed a management agreement with Saudi Investment Group and Marketing Co (SIGMAC), a subsidiary of Ghazzawi Group, for its second Hotel Indigo in Jeddah.

On top of 267 hotel rooms and 173 serviced apartments, guests will have access to a neighbourhood café, lobby lounge, health club and swimming pool. In addition, business guests can make use of spacious meeting rooms and printing facilities.

“Joining our Hotel Indigo properties in Riyadh, and Hotel Indigo Durrat Al Arus here in Jeddah, this new agreement aligns closely with our ambition to deliver a truly unique urban lifestyle proposition to new guest segments in Saudi Arabia. It will continue to drive forward our vision of offering the perfect balance of local experiences and hospitality, complimented by the familiarity of our brands’ modern design and the latest technological advancements in the industry,” said Haitham Mattar, IHG's managing director for India, Middle East & Africa.

IHG currently operates 37 hotels across five brands in Saudi Arabia: InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites and voco. A further 20 hotels are set to open within three to five years.
