Mumbai Hosting First ProWein Trade Fair in November

First Mumbai ProWein
The trade fair ProWein Mumbai is due to be held for the first time in India from 17-18 November. Organised by Messe Düsseldorf India and All Things Nice, it will take place at the five-star St. Regis hotel. There had been an "encouraging response" to ProWein Mumbai from both Indian and international brands, including importers of allied accessories, the Indian Wine Academy said in a post on its website.
Spark of hope
“Over the past months numerous events had to be postponed and cancelled throughout the entire world. Any trade fair we can offer means a spark of hope for the industry,” said ProWein director Bastian Mingers. “We handle the situation very responsibly and strictly comply with all the rules so as to guarantee the highest degree of safety possible.” The flagship ProWein Düsseldorf event was cancelled in both 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is scheduled to be held in the German city from 27 to 29 March 2022.
