Puzzle CRU: the perfect gift for wine & whisky lovers

One thousand-piece puzzles featuring wine maps of Italy, France and Spain are available, as is a 500-piece puzzle of Scottish whiskies.

It is that time of year where the super-organised among us turn their thoughts to Christmas presents – and the time of year where we are faced once again with what to give to the person who already has everything.

If you have a wine or whisky lover in your life, Puzzle CRU might be the present you are looking for: the 1,000-piece puzzles feature hand-drawn wine maps of Italy, Spain and France and of Scotland’s whiskies. The puzzles are the brainchild of Rebecca Gibb MW, wine writer and critic. She says: “Inspiration struck when I was doing a map puzzle and wondered if anyone had created wine jigsaws. I searched around and drew a blank, so I thought 'why not me?' Now they’ll be pieced together in homes around the world and I’m so proud that they’ll bring joy from London to LA.”

Distributed by Ginger Fox, the puzzles are widely available at UK retailers Waterstones, Booths and Easons priced at £17 for the larger puzzles and £12 for the smaller ones. They suggest that “the jigsaws are an entertaining and educational way to learn more about your favourite distilleries or go-to wine region with a glass in hand.”
