The First Hawaii-based Rideshare Company Hits the Open Road

Launched on five islands in Hawaii, Holoholo offers rideshare services to connect riders with drivers without surge pricing.

Locally owned rideshare service

As travel restrictions are being relaxed in Hawaii, demand for affordable and safe transportation options grows. Holoholo, the first Hawaii-based rideshare business, offers different transport services including sustainable vehicles with a focus on safety and transparency. The company does not make real-time adjustments to fares based on demand, also known as "surge pricing," and maintains a strict selection process for their drivers.

More ride options for riders

Holoholo offers a range of services:

  • Military, for riders who need a driver pre-approved to enter U.S. military bases
  • Assist, for riders with mobility issues
  • XL, for vehicles that can accommodate up to five passengers
  • Luxury, for premium vehicles
  • Green, for low emission rides

The company is currently operating on Maui, Lanai, Oahu, Hawaii island and Kauai. Users can book rides and check pricing online at the company website or through the Holoholo mobility app.
