Three Rosé Wines for Every Summer Holiday

Whether you are taking for a city break in Portugal, a day at the beach in France or a picnic at home - we have the right shade of pink for every summer getaway.

For the beach

The Big Apple meets Provence: New York winery Wölffer Estate Vineyard, which is headquartered in the Hamptons, has released its first rosé in cooperation with a Provençal winery near St. Tropez. Summer in a Bottle Côtes de Provence is the first European wine from the US producer and comes in a creatively designed bottle that is guaranteed to look great in beach photos.

For a city trip

A relaxed, light attitude to life, Portuguese style: this rosé from the Portuguese winery Mateus has been around for 80 years. To mark the anniversary, three limited editions have been launched that are all about music. Fado, the national song of Portugal, rock music by Jimi Hendrix and Elton John (who both drank Mateus) and the electro music of the younger rosé generation inspired the colourful bottles.

For a picnic

Luxury in a flat plastic bottle, again from Provence: Moët Hennessy quality is now available in a space-saving PET bottle. The luxury company bought Château du Galoupet wine estate in 2019 and launched the high-quality rosé Nomade in 2021 in a flat bottle made of recycled plastic waste from the oceans. Not only perfect for the picnic basket, but environmentally friendly.
