Virgin Atlantic gets festive with their Yuletide menu

Airline reveals what they’re serving passengers over Christmas.

For those travelling on Virgin Atlantic over Christmas – heading home, visiting relatives or due to work – a host of seasonal treats awaits with the airline revealing their festive menu.

All passengers will be able to enjoy roast turkey complete with trimmings or a mushroom and butternut squash Wellington, followed by milk chocolate and caramel mousse in economy, chocolate and caramel crunch in premium economy, and a millionaire’s chocolate log followed by a cheese platter in Upper Class.

And for those in premium and upper, the menu then gets really interesting: a festive Mile High Tea will be served including Brie and cranberry with fig chutney, finger sandwiches, a chocolate orange mini-Christmas pudding, mince pie éclair, blackberry and bay leaf macaron, and a warm scone. Added to that is a sparkling Christmas Spirit cocktail to wash it down – Black Cow vodka mixed with Champagne.

The festive menus will be served December 24-26, with Corneel Koster of Virgin Atlantic saying: “We want to ensure they start their journey with Virgin Atlantic in the best way possible and are more than ready to celebrate the festive period, as we get our customers to their destinations in style.”
