Welsh hotels come together under new banner

Rarebits Collection, which offers 100 places to stay across Wales, names food and drink as important elements of membership.

Three Welsh hotel collections – Welsh Rarebits Hotels of Distinction, Great Little Places and Rare Hideaways – have rebranded and come together as Rarebits Collection. The new brand offers nearly 100 places to stay across Wales, ranging from luxury spa hotels and traditional inns to B&Bs, farmhouses, self-catering holiday homes and glamping sites.

Every venue is independently owned and has to meet certain criteria for acceptance into the Collection. They must offer a high degree of excellence with quality accommodation and fine food and drink, where provided.

A single, more contemporary style website has been set up to make it easier for travellers to search for a suitable place to stay. Mike Morgan, Rarebits Collection Director, said: “The challenges presented by the pandemic gave the hotel collections the chance to take some time to reset and reposition.”

The list of hotels includes Château Rhianfa in Anglesey (shown in our image at the top).
