American Airlines’ first-class lounge at Heathrow gets refresh ahead of reopening

Facility now offering improved catering facilities with airline closing it three years ago at the start of the Covid pandemic.

After a three-year wait due to the global Covid pandemic, American Airlines has finally reopened its first-class lounge at London Heathrow offering travellers the very best in service while they wait at one of Europe’s busiest airports.

Announcing the reopening the airline revealed the lounge had undergone what it termed a “cosmetic refresh” that included a revamp of the kitchen area to allow lounge staff to offer a wide-ranging buffet service along with an à la carte menu.

The lounge is open to American Airlines and other oneworld first-class passengers, with one guest allowed; it is also open to oneworld Emerald members departing on the same day on a oneworld flight, also with one guest allowed.

The 120-seat facility is located in the ‘Lounge H’ area of Terminal 3 within the Admirals Club, and is open from 5am to 7.30pm.
