Lady Gaga & Dom Pérignon do it again with Rosé 2008

The limited-edition Rosé Vintage 2008 collaboration between Dom Pérignon and pop icon Lady Gaga is available this month.

In spring 2021, Dom Pérignon announced the cooperation with the pop icon and support for the Born This Way Foundation, which works to improve the mental health of young people. The collaboration was described as the encounter between two creative forces, with Lady Gaga, "inspiring us to dream, to experiment, to express ourselves" and Dom Pérignon "perpetually exploring the edge of creation".

Now the collaboration continues: a limited edition of Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2008 has hit the shelves. According to a statement by the Champagne house, wine springs from the "desire to dare", seizing the red of the Pinot Noir grape, and has spent nearly 12 years in the cellar.

Raspberries & violet

The Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2008 is said to captivate with its radiant bouquet and fruity nuances. It has raspberries and wild strawberries on the nose, powdery notes of iris and violet followed by unfolding greener nuances. The lingering finish is marked by peonies and white pepper.

Desire to dare

Visually, the aim is to represent the clash of cultural values. It almost seems as if the bottle and the packaging, gleaming in metallic rose, are enlarging – the balloon-like shape pushes
outwards, as if it wants to escape its own shell.

The Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2008 x Lady Gaga Limited Edition is available for £330.00 from Clos19.com
