The red wine Carla 6 IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Tenuta La Massa has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Sparkling, intense ruby. Clearly defined nose with pronounced notes of ripe dark cherries, underpinned by hints of licorice and graphite. Lots of full-bodied, deep tannins on the palate, fine raspberry fruit, then unfortunately dries out a little as it progresses, with a somewhat brittle finish.
