The white wine »Eisenerz« Nieder-Hilbersheim Riesling trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Knewitz has been rated in 2017 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
With ripe fruit on the nose, it has flirtatious yellow fruit, underpinned by balsamic-herbal notes. Juicy on the palate, a quick acid nerve runs through it, which pulsates like a rich bass on the palate, encased in vibrant, chalky minerality.
