The red wine Amistar Cuvée Edizione Rossa, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingut Peter Sölva has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Lagrein, Merlot from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling, rich ruby with violet shimmer. Initially shows slightly smoky notes, then lots of rich cassis and blackberry notes, underpinned by earthy notes, some beet. Still somewhat restrained at the start, then builds very well, many layers of dense tannin, beautiful fruit in the mid-palate, but then slightly drying in the finish, appears somewhat brittle in the aftertaste.
