For over 100 years, the Rosso family has owned the Cerretta, La Serra, Broglio, Meriame, Sorano, Costa bella, Lirano and Damiano crus. At the beginning of the 1980s, Giovanni Rosso restructured a large part of the vineyards. He planted them according to the most modern principles in order to produce only high-quality grapes. In 2001, at the age of 27, his son Davide, an oenologist with great experience, decided to personally take care of the vinification and ageing of the wines. His goal: "The wine must be the perfect expression of its terroir."
