Falstaff Wineguide Switzerland 2023/24

Simone Favini and Claudio Widmer, the two minds behind Fawino, met while studying enology in Changins. Together, the lateral entrants realized their dream of owning their own winery in Ticino in 2012, which quickly became an insider tip. Above all, however, the consistently appealing quality of their Merlot growths has long since ceased to be a secret. In the Falstaff Trophies on the subject, they regularly land in the top ranks with their elegant drops, which are created with additions in the cellar.
