Falstaff Wineguide Switzerland 2023/24

The wide range of Gialdi Vini is composed of two lines. While the Gialdi wines are mainly made from grapes supplied by hundreds of winegrowers from the northern part of Ticino, the Brivio line focuses on the production of wines from the southern part of Ticino. The latter are produced on calcareous, heavy clay soils and show themselves full-bodied, soft and full of elegance. In total, the company produces about 30 wines, vinified under the watchful eye of the legendary Swiss oenologist Alfred de Martin.
