Pio Cesare was founded in 1881 in Alba, the capital of the Langhe. After 142 years, it is still a family business. Following the death of Pio Boffa, daughter Federica Rosy now runs the company in the 5th generation and with the same passion as her ancestors. The company owns first-class vineyards with great sites, which were deliberately planted in various villages in the Barolo and Barbaresco region, with the conviction that a combination of several individual sites produce wines that reflect the expression of the entire appellation even better.
