In the northwest of Sardinia there are 520 hectares of vineyards. Sella & Mosca has one of the largest contiguous vineyards in Europe. The winery was founded in 1899 by two Piedmontese: Engineer Erminio Sella and lawyer Edgardo Mosca. The Tenuta became part of the Terra Moretti Vino world in 2016 at the instigation of Vittorio Moretti and his daughter Francesca, the family's oenologist.
New cultivation methods, focusing on autochthonous varieties, and technological innovation allow the production of contemporary wines. Today it is a leading company in Sardinia.
