Claus Preisinger can offer a barrista style espresso: fragrant, deep black, intense, organic, hand-roasted, from fair trade and, of course, served without milk nor sugar – basically unadultered. Only the real thing is real and only the real thing is interesting. This is Preisinger’s overall outlook with his vines, life, work and everything else - and especially with his wines. Manual labour in the vineyard and cellar, biodynamic principles in the vineyards, spontaneous fermentation, minimal or no intervention in the cellar: everything is kept as natural as possible. The only things that count are the variety, the soil, the region and the vintage.

The result of this purist way of working is sometimes wines that are not mainstream but all the same - unique. But this is precisely the reason why these wines are pre-ordered even before bottling. However, Claus Preisinger's "classic" wines are more familiar and don’t display his wild genius, offering all-rounder wines. From the uncomplicated entry-level wine to the Burgenland varietal classics: Claus Preisinger's unmistakable hallmark on the label stands for purity, individuality and boldness, which one simply cannot resist!
