Falstaff Wineguide Germany 2021

Falstaff Wineguide Germany 2021

Absolutely solid craftmanship is what we tasted in the wines Michael Trossen presented: the slate savouriness is pronounced and chiselled, the wines have expressive aromas and maintain that balance between density and typical Mosel liveliness on the palate. The 2019 vintage will be memorable for Michael Trossen since he even made a Trockenbeerenauslese. He also reports that due to sufficient water availability during the main ripening phase, the minerality of these wines was more pronounced than ever. With that amount of backbone these wines have a great and long life ahead of them!
