Peter Masser's winery is located in Fötschach, not far from Leutschach, and is known among gourmets not only for its wines but also for its second mainstay, the breeding of Scottish Highland cattle. Close to the South Styrian Wine Road, the Massers find perfect conditions for the production of quality wine. In the Sernauberg, Oberglanz and Schlingelberg vineyards, where the slopes reaches up to 50 degrees, the conditions for vines are ideal.

Their range covers the typical southern Styrian grape varieties; crisp Welschriesling, Morillon, various Pinots and Sauvignon Blanc as well as Muskateller. In suitable years sweet wines (ice wine, Ausbruch, Trockenbeerenauslese) are also produced. "Stock" stands for a fresh, fruity, animating light wine with concise varietal typicity. "Bod'n" is the classic reflection of both the provenance and the typicality of the vineyards - these are wines with a lot of character and elegant fullness. And "Zeit+Ruh" denotes very special wines which are slowly matured in small wooden barrels to develop their full ageing potential.

Since 2016, Florian and Peter Masser have been working as pioneers in the field of fungus resistant grape varieties and they now cultivate the largest organic vineyard of new grape varieties in Austria. However, the father-son duo's love of experimentation doesn't stop there, four amphora are also owned by the Massers confirming their commitment to exciting wine styles with great ageing potential.
