Falstaff Wineguide Germany 2021

Falstaff Wineguide Germany 2021

If we stick to the winemaking maxim that the estate Riesling is the calling card of the house, then that of Weingut Prinz von Hessen is a most attractive one: its spreads across the palate with juiciness, charm and fresh brightness, it is animating and almost voluptuous. It is these entry-level and village wines that appear to have gained in clarity since Bärbel Weinert took over the running of the estate. We cannot yet speak of a paradigm shift, but we are curious to see how things will develop.
