Bianka and Daniel Schmitt, both oenology graduates, met in 2012 and developed their passion for natural wines together. They work with skin contact and skin fermentation, their wines are unfiltered and are bottled with no or very little sulphur dioxide. The estate with its 17 hectares of vines have been Demeter certified since 2012. “Our aim,” they report, “is to make great wines, as unadulterated as possible, in a real balance between nature and man.” They clearly succeed: it is rare to drink wines with such a natural touch.
