This long-established cooperative on Lake Constance holds surprises. Their range “Winzerstolz”, i.e. winemaker’s pride, is a real feat for the team around Martin Frank and Valentin Wagner. With their clear fruit expression and accuracy, the wines are downright disarming. They show real substance like the Grauburgunder, supported by oak ageing, well-channelled power like the opulent Weissburgunder or smooth accessibility like the berry-tastic Spätburgunder. The lake is emblazoned in gold - and rightly so, on the label of the Muskateller, which shows this variety from its elegant, cabinet-like side. Delightful!
