Michelin Unexpectedly Adds Six Restaurants to New York Guide

The renowned French-owned guide is breaking with tradition by adding some of its NYC selections throughout the year, instead of annually.

In an unprecedented move, Michelin has added six new selections during the year to its New York guide: Les Trois Chevaux, the French fine dining restaurant by chef Angie Mar; Le Fanfare, a warm authentic Italian restaurant in Greenpoint; Takeda, an Upper West Side sushi restaurant; Torien, Yoshiteru Ikegawa’s excellent yakitori spot; Yellow Rose, an acclaimed Texas-themed restaurant in the East Village; and 63 Clinton, a US$92 set menu venue run by long-time friends and colleagues, Michelin-starred chef Samuel Clonts and Raymond Trinh.
