JOIA, meaning ‘jewel’ in Portuguese, is located across the 14th, 15th and 16th floors of Art’otel. The 14th and 16th floors hold JOIA’s bar and rooftop space, while the 15th floor is dedicated to its restaurant. The menu has been carefully curated by celebrated chef Henrique Sá Pessoa – his first London venture – and blends Catalonian and Portuguese flavours using fresh British produce. Pessoa also runs tapas restaurant Tapisco and the two-Michelin-starred Alma, both in Lisbon. Dishes available at JOIA include tapas designed for sharing, such as hand dived scallops with aioli and Iberico croquettes, while monkfish and red prawn stew and braised Iberian pork cheeks are just two of the large plates.
