Sotheby's is to auction off untouched wines from the Chanel vineyards in Bordeaux. The wines are from Château Rauzan-Ségla and Château Canon, situated between Margaux and Saint-Émilion. More than sixty rare vintages spanning 1917 to 2020 will be offered, with an estimated value of £730,000. The sale, comprising various bottle sizes up to 18-litre Melchiors, will celebrate 25 years of Chanel ownership and more than 100 years of winemaking on both banks of the Gironde estuary, Sotheby's said.
