The hand-crafted Swiss cheese beat out a record-breaking 4,434 entries in this year’s World Cheese Awards in Wales.

Le Gruyère AOP surchoix,entered by Swiss cheesemaker Vorderfultigen and affineur Gourmino, scooped the highest accolade at the World Cheese Awards heldin Newport, Wales on 2 November.
