The red wine St. Laurent trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Cisterzienser Weingut has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety St. Laurent from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The wine shows sour cherry fruit, notes of cranberry, fine new oak, cigar box, caramel and coconut. On the palate it opens juicy and sweetish, showing mellow tannins, clearly tactile mineral tones, a beautiful elegance with a rather strong use of wood.
