The red wine Zweigelt Barrique, vintage 2000 from the winery Weingut Salzl – Seewinkelhof has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Strong carmine garnet, broad ochre rim. Dried plum, ripe fig, red berry confit, already clearly developed bouquet. Medium-bodied, juicy and sweet on the palate, preserved red cherries, delicate tannin, some strawberry confit on the finish, uncomplicated style, still a pleasure to drink thanks to its good freshness.
