Tasting from 20.02.2020: Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog

On the nose, quite ripe, dark berry fruit with compote-like nuances, some perry pear as well as spicy and mineral nuances. Becomes more interesting with every sniff. Impressively broad on the palate with a beautiful texture, roasted and dark berry notes, polished tannins, and beautiful length. A ripe, positively opulent Merlot type.
