Tasting Notes
Deep ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim. Black olives, blackberries, a hint of tapenade, sweet wild berries, some broom, suggestive bouquet. On the palate complex, juicy, fine tannins, ripe fruit of black cherries, full-bodied and freshly structured, spicy nuances, elegant with a fine chocolate touch; has reached a first drinking maturity and is now perfect to drink. A picture-book Châteauneuf-du-Pape that looks like a combination of Médoc and southern Rhône.
