Tasting Notes
Made from 60-year-old vines, the nose is complex with an initial funk that dissipates to reveal a spicy redcurrant note. The palate is slightly crunchy with fine, still slightly grippy tannins and a pervasive freshness. More air shows top notes of iron oxide, the finish is appetizing and gives some more of spice and underscores Gevrey’s tannic grip.
