Medium ruby with orange reflections and a broader rim, overall an incredibly dark colour considering its age. Inviting cherry and plum fruit on the nose, great fruit, has a multi-faceted, attractive bouquet with tobacco nuances, spices, vanilla, nougat, fine ethereal notes. On the palate again a juicy, dark berryish fruit, firm, persistent tannins, appears incredibly youthful, shows an almost unbelievable freshness, fine blackberryish fruit in the finish; 80 years old and not a bit tired. An unforgettable wine that commands the respect of every wine lover. So much for the question "Can you still drink a wine after such a long time?" Drink!
