Dark ruby, delicate ochre rim, deep colour. Ripe, almost opulent dark berry fruit, blackberry, cassis and a hint of eucalyptus, candied orange zest, fine herbal savouriness. Powerful on the palate, very full-bodied texture, perfectly ripe fruit, firm, well-integrated tannins, mineral, blackberry nuances on the finish, very good persistence, has good further ageing potential.
