Deep garnet, opaque core, purple reflections. Inviting bouquet with a hint of ripe figs and strawberry confit, dark berry fruit, a hint of liquorice, smoky savoury nuances in the background. Complex and full-bodied on the palate, very substantial and at the same time mineral with vivid, ripe tannins giving the wine an incredible length, fine nougat, underpinned wtih good freshness, a wine with a secure future but not very accessible at the moment and still needs a lot of time.
