Tasting Notes
Flinty reduction opens the nose that soon verges into fresh, ripe dark cherry. There is the lovely drama of cool soil and ripe fruit, of depth and generosity. The tannins are ripe but love to flex their fine, toned muscle. A whole world of juiciness opens up, almost playfully, despite the seriousness of the wine. The finish has a touch of blackberry.
