Tasting Notes

Tasting from 31.12.2019: Ulrich Sautter

The nose is already broadly defined with apple, caramel, flint, grain and a hint of yellow fruit. On the palate it has exceptionally finely staged density, intense minerality, but also physically vivid. Extremely homogeneous with an absolutely seamless integration of suppleness and texture. Delicate, but also tense acidity is flanked by a touch of distinctive bitterness and there is a chalkiness on the finish. A whole universe of Meursault elements, from finesse to power, from fruit and savouriness to minerality. Great length.
