Tasting from 01.01.2022: Gabriel Stone

Bold, tropical, guava and blackcurrant leaf aromas leap from the glass, followed by a burst of palate-enlivening acidity that really fills out in the mouth to deliver satisfying breadth and texture. A wine of both drive and substance, with no heaviness or excessive flavour from the oak. Certainly an age-worthy food wine rather than a quaffer.
