Ripe but tart cherry freshness combines with the smell of freshly tanned leather, making this heady and evocative. A lovely note of white pepper signals spicy verve. The palate comes in with slenderness and does everything to maintain that tingling, peppery spice. In the end, a more soothing notion of ripe, red cherry takes over but the body remains fresh, bright and lucid. Beautiful. A.K.
