Bright ruby red. Medium expression on the nose, where fruit and spice are harmoniously combined, but it is currently still holding back a little. The palate is densely woven, with great, tightly-meshed tannin, juicy, compact fruit, and a wide arc of tension. A lot of emphasis on the finish. Long.
