Tasting Notes
1960 was a bumper vintage with such a large harvest that wine even had to be temporarily stored in swimming pools, as cellar master Christian Frieß recalls. The domaine office decided to build a cellar annex after this harvest. Amber colour; intense and complex nose with dried fruits, caramel, orange zest, also fir resin and incense. Medium-bodied, still juicy and fresh, very clear fruit expression. Shows texture and charm, somewhat floral on the finish, coats the palate excellently.
