Tasting from 08.09.2016: Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Othmar Kiem

Deep dark ruby garnet with purple reflections, and a touch of rim brightening. Smoky, spiced black fruit dominates the nose, underpinned with earthy herbal notes. There's some nougat, hints of olives and Perigord truffle in the heady undertones. Powerful and very concentrated on the palate, with extracted sweetness and perfectly ripened tannins. Black berries on the finish as well as a dark minerality. A very convincing length to the finish, which brings mocha and toast aromas in the aftertaste.
